You really preformed a lovely ceremony.
Each and every person who attended came  to me and commented on your words that day.

Dear Captain Arnold,

Donna and I would like to thank you for presiding over our ceremony.

In planning our wedding on the beach, we knew that the officiant would play a key role in the success of our big day. We had read the testimonials on your website but what you delivered that day, far surpassed all of our expectations. You blended the perfect balance of tenderness, humor, wisdom and love to create a truly memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

Before we had walked out to the beach you pulled us off to the side for some last minute advice. We listened to your words and tuned out all of the distractions swirling around us. It’s amazing how the little things really made the day so much more enjoyable. Just a few soothing words settled our nerves and got us to focus on the moment at hand. When we look back at that day, we always come back to the fact that you came through for us time and time again.

We had prepared vows for our family medallion and sand ceremonies but we weren’t entirely happy with them. You suggested that we entrust it to you and that you had something suitable. As the proceedings unfolded we were amazed at how your words just wove our lives together with such grace and ease. Donna’s two daughters had a great deal of anxiety approaching the ceremony... “Where do we stand?” “What are we supposed to do?”... but you were there every step of the way to guide them in a gentle and friendly manner. We can never thank you enough for all you did that day to make it special beyond words.

As the day progressed we can’t tell you how many people stopped us and made it a point of complimenting your service. Everyone was incredibly impressed with how personal you made our ceremony. It really felt as if you had known us all of our lives. That day you didn’t just marry a husband and a wife, you married a family and you did so with incredible finesse. We’ll forever consider it an honor and privilege to have had you share our wedding day with us.

Sincerely,

Jim & Donna Cardillo

Married on the Motor Yacht "Skyline Princess"
(Pier One, World's Fair Marina, Flushing, NY)

Hello Captain Arnold

Michael and I have finally arrived back home to England after the most fantastic wedding and honeymoon.  We can confirm that we have received the marriage certificate and photo - thank you very much.

We would just like to say a really BIG thank you for making our day so special.  We could not have asked for a better day.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and we keep talking about the day and yourself in particular - what a fabulous person you are and how you made it such a day to remember.

The ceremony was beautiful.  Our Mums treasure their roses from the rose ceremony.

The meal on the boat was lovely and the setting couldn't get any better.  Then there was your magic which kept us so entertained - we were all amazed at you.  We looked back over the video last night and I could see that there were a few people wiping their tears - it was so special to us all.

Can you also say a really big thank you to Mimi - she was so lovely and attentive.  She made me feel like a princess and was there for me whenever there was anything at all we would want.  Not that we could want for anything more.  She added to the day in a special way.

Once again THANK YOU so much for everything - this was the best wedding we could have ever wished for and we are so glad that we found you on the internet.

We wish you, Mimi and all of the boat crew all the very best wishes for the future.

Meanwhile Michael and I are settling into our married life together with the best start it could have had.

Thank you

Love and best wishes from
Clare, Mike and all of our family and friends who were with us on the day.

Dear Captain Arnold,

I am sorry it has taken me so long to write you a proper Thank you. We came back from our ten day honeymoon in Anguilla and hit the ground running. The last few months have been a whirlwind but we are loving married life.

We love to reflect back on our special day and all who helped to make it so memorable. I am finally getting around to thanking my vendors and you are the first on my list.
I cannot tell you enough how much we enjoyed working with you in planning our wedding ceremony.
Coming from different backgrounds and religious influences, we searched high and low to find the right match. We met with many, and quickly grew frustrated when no one seemed to fit the type of ceremony we were trying to create.

When I first contacted you on the phone, I was quickly drawn to your voice, it sounded like GOD and the simple mantra of life and love you project in your ceremony seemed to be exactly what we were looking for.

In planning our beach wedding, we wanted to create an atmosphere that was comfortable and easy for our guests, not overly heavy or formal.

Your charismatic charm combined with your professionalism and thoroughness, made the decision an easy one. I especially appreciated how readily available you were to talk with me every time I called with a question or concern.

You never made me feel like "just another bride." You won over my very discerning husband too, which is by no means an easy task!!

The ceremony you performed was beautiful, it exceeded all of our expectations.

You came prepared with all of your own sound equipment so we did not have to rent anything additional, which helped out a great deal.

After the ceremony, so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed your ceremony. We were asked again and again, "Where did you find him?" Our guests loved the jokes you told prior to the ceremony while they were waiting for the wedding to begin. Everyone seemed to love your grace and wit as much as we did.

I especially enjoyed coming home from my honeymoon to find a package from you complete with all of our paperwork in the mail for our marriage license along with the copy of our vows and photos you sent from the day!

You truly go above and beyond and we were so thankful to receive such a nice memoir of our ceremony.

Planning a wedding is never an easy task, there are so many decisions to formulate and you never know until after the day is over what you would have done differently.

I would recommend your work to my closest friends and family and to anyone who is looking to have a ceremony that is a reflection of what marriage should be: a journey of life and love, laughter and hope delivered in a way that appeals to everyone.

Thank you for making this reality come true for us.

With heartfelt Appreciation and Praise,

Chandra Collier & Juris Kupris

Dear Captain Arnold,

I think Chris and I knew, when we first contacted you via the internet and then on the phone that you would be the only choice for our Chaplain.

Your broad personality, humor and deep feeling were the perfect combination for the person we chose to marry us.

Chris and I both feel that we have married each other’s other half. Humor, deep feeling and respect for each other’s personalities have been the foundation of our relationship since the day we met.

You promised a ceremony we would remember and indeed it was quite memorable.

This note comes with great thanks and great joy in having had you marry us. We look forward to fifty years like you have had with your lady.

Many, many heartfelt thanks and gratitude from the two of us.

Dear Captain Arnold,

Thank you so much from an extremely memorable day.
The service was amazing - we really could not have asked for anything better.

Your words, gentle humor, and sincere kindness was exactly what we needed amid the craziness of putting together a wedding all by ourselves.

Many people have come to both Amy and I and mentioned how lovely the ceremony was and how much you truly made it special.

Thanks again for a day we will never forget.

Dear Captain Arnold

We have been very slow in sending this email, but please know that it is not because we weren't completely thrilled with our ceremony on September 30th.

You promised something unique and meaningful .... and you really delivered. Our ceremony was perhaps the most beautiful wedding ceremony we've ever been to. We listened to your words, and we focused on each other. And the event far exceeded our expectations.

You have a true gift ... we felt like we knew you well before the day of the wedding and you found a way to connect with us in a very real way. Thank you for that. All of our guests commented how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Since they came from many miles away to celebrate with us, we were very glad to know that they were not disappointed. We look forward to sharing the rest of our lives together, and we will carry with us many of the sentiments you shared on our special day.

Thank you so much.

Sincerely,

Dear Captain Arnold,

What a wonderful treat! Thank you for thinking of us this holiday season.

I have been meaning to drop you a line to thank you for your outstanding sermon and impeccable service.

We received that lovely photo and copy of our wedding vows.  We're having it mounted.  They are absolutely beautiful, and they deserve an equally beautiful display.

Thank you for all that you've done to make our wedding so magical.

Nothing went according to plan that day, and we were constantly confronted with the deceit of our wedding planner, but your sermon made all the nonsense disappear and helped us remember the true reason for calling all of our loved ones together.
For that, we are eternally grateful.

Thank you.

My very best to your family for an abundant new year filled with laughter and joy.

Much love and many blessings,

Cynthia and Mario

Hi Captain Arnold,

Henry and I would first like to thank you for performing our wedding ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful. A lot of my family and friends told me that a lot of what you said during the ceremony was very touching.

I cried, not because i was only happy but because the vows you told Henry and I to repeat was exactly what our relationship meant between us.

Ever since the first time we spoke on the phone to the day of our wedding you have helped us tremendously. We thank you for everything you have told us, taught us, and the encouragement you gave us for our new begining.

Thank you very much.

Hi Captain Arnold,

Thanks for working with us on the ceremony on such short notice.

It worked out well and in the early pics I am seeing you looked perfect in uniform conducting the ceremony.
Quite a few people have said that they were touched by the ceremony and a few even had tears in their eyes at different points.

I admire your professionalism and even your touches of humour which were appropriate during the ceremony.

Once we get the official photographers pics I'll send you any that would be appropriate.

Regards and thanks again,

Cindy and Les
PS Please extend our thanks to Mimi for her translating and coordinating skills.  They definitely made the ceremony that much better for Cindy's parents and family.

Hello Captain Arnold,

We are still buzzing from our Wedding.

It was absolutely beautiful.
Everyone is still telling us how touching the ceremony was and how deep our "Captain" was. Duane and I agree 100%. In fact everyone was in awe by your experience, your professionalism and your wit.

You touched more than the Bride and Groom. You touched everyone. Even the children were listening to every word.

We were trusting you and the whole cruise thing, for this was our very first cruise and we went all out. We just knew that something had to go wrong with an out of town wedding but it DIDNT. The only thing we could say is that we wish we had more time with our guest but we know that Cruise Ships have restrictions.

Mimi was wonderful. She made sure I didn't trip over my dress and the other coordinators were helpful as well. I will recommend you to EVERYONE.

Thank you for starting our new life together on a very beautiful and touching note.

Dear Captain Arnold,

We hope this letter finds you well, and would like to wish you and your family a very Happy and Healthy 2007.

I don't really know how to start telling you how much we enjoyed our wedding on the Norwegian Spirit on November 19th, 2006. As you know we had waited a long time to cement our love for each other and your words were more than perfect. You made us laugh and cry and we will never forget you for making our special day the best it could ever be. You could not have done more, or said more, to enhance what meant a lot to us both. Please add a huge thank you to Mimi also. She was a darling.

It was our pleasure to have met you, now I know why we had to wait so long to get married, it was because we hadn't met you, and I am so pleased that we waited for the best man for the job. Your name will come up often I'm sure in our thoughts and chats.

Takes special care, and if you feel like a trip to Europe, please look us up as it would be a pleasure to show you around our part of Spain. Again many, many thanks. God bless you and your family.

Lot's of love and all best wishes.

Dear Captain Arnold,

We wanted to thank you again for the beautiful and memorable ceremony you conducted for our wedding. Your adaptability is amazing.

We wanted something very small and intimate, and although you are probably used to doing much larger and elaborate weddings, you were able to create a magical feeling right in our small living room.

Your ceremony combined the best elements of formality and informality, both touching and humorous, and we thank you for blessing us with these wonderful memories.

We were truly inspired, and we can only hope that our marriage lasts as long as has yours, with your lovely wife Sheila.

We are grateful for your kindness and strength.

Dear Captain Arnold,

Firstly sorry to have taken so long to get in touch with you, it has been one long round of either visiting people or having them visit us since we returned from NY. Finally it is just me, Mark, four dogs, two cats and I am able to sit at this machine and write my thank yous.

What a brilliant day we had. The sun shone, as you said, ordered especially and everything was just perfect. Thank you for all of the help that you gave to us prior to the wedding. It was very helpful to a strange but pleasant English lady to have a real live American, with all of the answers at the end of e-mail! We loved the vows that you had written, but I was disappointed that Mark did not agree to give me his wallet, now and forever!

Clive, who is one of my dearest friends thought that that you were amazing. Clive kept commenting that you were VFM (value for money) which believe me, is a complement of the highest order and only given to people who truly deserve it.

Thank you also for entertaining us all in the restaurant. Very magical that was!

We have today received the marriage licence along with the copy of the vows that we made. That was very special and is something that we will definitely keep in pride of place.

Finally, attached are a few photographs from the day. I love the one of you and Clive. Sal, our driver, actually took us back to the airport, he was also full of praise for you and really like the fact that you took the trouble to keep him company whilst the photographs were being taken.

All the very best to you and your's, enjoy your 50th wedding anniversary celebrations, have a wonderful 2007 and please keep in touch.

Much love

Em & Mark

Dearest Capt. Arnold.

Thank you so very much for the letter you sent to us - It was so great to have both the picture of all of us 3 together, and also to have our wedding vows. It is always a joy to read it over and over again :-)

Also, thank you for the Christmas card you sent us:-)

About the ceremony, despite all that we had to go through, before we could get married, it was the best day in both of our lives. Even you must have thought: wonder if she had gotten cold feet or such??... 1 ½ hours is a loooooooooong time to wait....;-)

I felt so bad that it all went that wrong with the limo driver, and that it made all of you stand out there in the cold and not being able to do anything but wait.... We can't thank you enough, that you still had the time to perform our ceremony. It was such a nice ceremony, and you where just the perfect one to perform it for us.

We seriously couldn't have chosen a better person, than you, to perform it for us. It is us, who thank you for letting us be a part of your life, even though it was brief. We are more sure about being together now, than ever. We both believe, there's a reason for everything, and the reason would, without a doubt, be that we had to prove to each other, that this was really what we wanted. You know how people say, when you get married, nothing changes. We were of that opinion too.... But we both feel that something has changed, and that is, that we both feel even stronger connected now, than ever before. Our love for each other is growing stronger and more powerful for every day that goes by! We are so happy that we got married, and did it in New York.

It will forever be in our hearts and spirits. Both you and New York!

Thank you once again!

With all the love and respect

Stina and Bo

To Captain Arnold,

There are no words that can be written or expressed that can be compared to the words you shared at our wedding.

Almost the entire night all everyone was able to speak about was the ceremony you performed and the words you spoke.

You helped make this day very special for us, and a ceremony our daughter will always remember for the rest of her life.  We are forever grateful to you.

The 2 years we waited from the day we first spoke was well worth it.

Thank You again for being part of this special day in all of our lives.

Dear Captain Arnold,

To say that your ceremony was special – from the opening love song you recommended, to the moment Lou and I said ‘I do’ – does not even begin to express the beauty of your words. Inspiring, thought provoking, sincere and with conviction are just a few expressions that instantly come to mind.

You told us that many of our guests would be moved by your words. They were, and so were we! Your ‘Ceremonial Wedding Creation’ gives new meaning to the word ‘Special’. You are one of a kind, your words of wisdom are also ‘one of a kind’, but they are meant for everyone. May we all listen well.

Affectionately,

Judy and Lou
