Dear Captain Arnold

A belated hello to you as we wanted to send our regards to you 1 year to the day from when you married us on top of the Empire State building on July 29th 2004 but it wasn't possible.  We are spending our first anniversary in sunny Jamaica.  We had a great day on the 29th this year and our thoughts constantly returned to our beautiful wedding day which you made possible so we raised a glass and included you in our toasts! We (and many of our friends and family) often visit the website. We hope you are well and once again thank you for giving us a wonderful wedding day to remember.

Best Wishes and fondest regards to you

William and Michelle Hillditch

"...As we look at the so many happy faces on your website we can now say we are honored to be part of them. Often during a wedding ceremony people may not pay much attention to the words that are spoken or the meaning of the words. You not only captured us, but you captured all who watched and listened. Cara and I were blessed the day we met you, and your blessing to us will last until eternity. Thank you Captain Arnold, thank you for uniting Cara and I as one. Your words and you will be in our hearts forever. I hope it makes you feel very proud that you have touched so many peoples lives as you touched ours."

Married in the Chapel of
The Green-Wood Cemetery (Brooklyn, NY)

"Thank you so much for performing such a thoughtful and memorable ceremony for our wedding. From the moment Brian and I spoke to you on the phone we knew that you were the one who would understand what we wanted for our marriage ceremony. Because of the distance we did not have a chance to meet you face to face prior to the ceremony but I had confidence that you would do an excellent job because of your professional attitude, caring heart, and warm personality. Many guests at our wedding commented on the quality of your service and I was not surprised. Your thoughtful commentary on love and marriage during our ceremony made my eyes well up with tears (even though I fought it off!!!)
Thanks again, and best wishes to you,"

"... Pat and I can't begin to tell you how pleased we were with your message and ceremony. We had several obstacles to overcome, all of which you managed to do professionally yet emotionally. Several members of Pat's immediate family had recently died (mother, father, sister) and yet you were able to lovingly incorporate them into the ceremony. We both have older children, so bonding the families in the ceremony was not an easy task, yet you did so beautifully. Pat and I, both middle aged and both previously married, understand the true and real problems of marriage. You were able to speak of these problems realistically and offer suggestions to avoid these pitfalls again. You brought tears to our eyes and to the eyes of our guests. There is not a person with whom we have spoken with who has not mentioned how beautiful your service was and how touched they were by it. You made a wonderful evening even better and gave our evening-and life- a blessed start.
Thank you so much for personalizing this for us. You will forever be remembered as we reminisce over our wedding night.

Dear Captain Arnold:

What can you say to an extraordinary individual who has the ability to take just one brief moment of our life and in doing so, create a memory that will last a lifetime. We want to sincerely thank you for a wonderful ceremony and your words of inspiration and commitment. Your personalized approach and sense of humor made our day all the more special. We felt your words as they truly touched our hearts and resonated in our feelings for one another. The words you spoke not only celebrated our union, but offered valuable counsel and wisdom, which we have embraced and will continue to strive toward in our daily lives. Our families were also deeply moved by the ceremony (they are still talking about it)! and your ability to articulate the goodness and challenges that marriage brings. We wish you much happiness, and hope that our paths will again cross in the near future.

Sincerely,

Sebastian & Polly Douglas
